About Skorly

Credit Knowledge
Should Be Accessible to Everyone

We started Skorly because understanding credit information should not require a finance degree. Our programs are built around clarity, honesty, and respect for the learner.

Our Story

Where Skorly Began

Skorly was established in Subang Jaya with a straightforward observation: most people encounter credit reports at critical moments — when applying for a loan, renting a property, or reviewing their financial records — yet very few have ever had a chance to learn what they actually contain.

The terminology can feel dense. The structure of a report is not intuitively obvious. And finding a calm, pressure-free space to ask basic questions about how credit information works is surprisingly difficult.

That is the space Skorly occupies. We are an education provider, not a financial services firm. Our facilitators focus on explaining how credit reports are generally structured, what the common terminology refers to, and how people can keep their own records organised. Nothing in our programs constitutes financial advice.

Since opening our doors in Selangor, we have worked with learners from a wide range of backgrounds — fresh graduates navigating their first credit application, working adults who want to understand a report they received, and older learners who simply want to be better informed. The approach stays consistent: plain language, honest information, and no pressure.

What Guides Us

Our Mission & Values

Clarity First

Every word in our programs is written to be understood, not to impress. If a simpler explanation exists, we use it. Jargon only appears when we are teaching people what it means.

Honest Scope

We are clear about what we do and what we do not do. Skorly teaches general concepts, not personalised outcomes. We refer people to appropriate official sources when specific guidance is needed.

Respectful Learning

No one should feel embarrassed for not knowing something. Our facilitation style is calm, patient, and judgement-free — whether participants are in their first session or their last.

The People Behind Skorly

How We Work

Our Standards & Approach

These are the principles that guide how Skorly designs and delivers every learning experience.

Content Review Process

All program materials are reviewed before publication to ensure accuracy, relevance, and clarity. Content is updated when terminology or common practices change.

Participant Data Protection

Personal information collected during enrolment is handled in accordance with the Personal Data Protection Act 2010 (Malaysia). We do not share participant data with third parties for marketing purposes.

Non-Advisory Boundary

Facilitators are trained to keep all content within the scope of general education. If a question requires professional financial or legal advice, participants are directed to the appropriate official sources.

Participant Feedback Loops

Every program concludes with a structured feedback session. Responses are reviewed and used to improve materials, pacing, and facilitation for subsequent cohorts.

Accessibility of Materials

Program materials are designed to be readable by people without prior knowledge of finance or banking. Glossaries, annotated examples, and plain summaries are included in every program.

Malaysia-Specific Relevance

All examples, terminology, and official source references are grounded in the Malaysian context. We point participants towards local regulatory bodies and official channels for further information.

Our Expertise

Credit Report Education in Malaysia

Understanding what a credit report contains is something most people only think about at moments of pressure — a loan application, a rental agreement, a financial review. At Skorly, we think it is more useful to build that understanding before those moments arrive.

Our programs cover the broad structure of credit reports as they are commonly organised: account summaries, repayment history patterns, enquiry records, and the way different types of credit relationships are typically described. We explain what these sections are, why they exist, and what kinds of information they generally include — always as educational content, never as advice about a specific individual's situation.

The Complete Credit Awareness Program extends this into record-keeping habits, an understanding of where to access official information in Malaysia, and an exploration of the questions most worth asking before significant financial decisions. Participants leave with a reference library and a clearer sense of where to look when they need authoritative answers.

What sets Skorly apart is not a proprietary method or a bold claim — it is a consistent commitment to teaching what we know, being honest about what falls outside our scope, and treating every participant as someone capable of understanding the material when it is explained clearly.
